On Saturday.
On Saturday I went fishing with my family at the beach in Waitangi. First we got ready and got the fishing rods and bait ready. Then we went off and my papa and nana were buying us some lollies and pie. It was so yummy. When we got to the beach at Waitangi we put the bait onto the line. Then we cast our fishing lines into the water. We were waiting a long time for the fish to bite. I finally felt a bite. I pulled and reeled at the same time. I was excited. On my hook was a big snapper. The colour of it was brown and white. I thought it was a cool colour. My nana and papa and Amaziah liked the colour too. Then my brother got a bite. He reeled the line in. On my brothers line was a kingfish. The colour of the kingfish was grey and silver. My brother was jumping up and down. He felt excited and happy.
 We went back home. We put our fish in the pan and cooked it. 
We were waiting and waiting for our fish to cook. 
Finally it was cooked. We had our fish for dinner. It was so yummy then we put salt on it. I felt happy because we went fishing and I caught a fish.

At the pools in Whangarei.

On Saturday me and Rio went to the pools in Whangarei. First we went down the waterslide. It was fun. 

I was jumping up and down. Next we got some ice-cream. 

The ice-cream was so yummy. 

Then we went back to the pools. We  bombed off the side of the bridge. That was fun. 

Finally we went home. At last we had lollies. 

I felt happy because we got to bomb off the bridge.

On Sunday morning me and my family went to the skatepark to play on our scooters. I thought that was super cool.                                                                               
First we played on our scooters to play rides around the big bowl. I thought that was so fun.
Next we played on the swings. It was so cool my tummy was getting butterflies because I was going so high.
After that we went to the shop to buy a drink because we were thirsty. 
Finally we went back home.
