On Sunday morning I went to the skate park
with my brother and my mum.
First, we went on our scooters.
I said to my brother, “Let’s go on the park.”

The Treaty of Waitangi
WALT write our ideas about the Treaty of Waitangi.
The Treaty Of Waitangi
The Maori people were the first ones to get
to New Zealand.
The Pakeha people were the next ones here.
When lots of Pakeha came
to live in NZ they started to
have problems.
The Maori chiefs sent a letter to the king
to ask him for help.
The king sent William Hobson and
James Busby to help stop the fighting end.
Then they made some rules.
The rules were
We will look after NZ.
We will look after each other
and make sure that we won’t fight.
The rules were called the
Treaty of Waitangi.
The Treaty of Waitangi helps
to keep us safe.
